Desolation
Angels is partially back! Ash has put her GW short fics here,
but no Niobe's Violets or Toy Soldiers. Yet?
This
was the very first *good* GW fanfic site I ever found. It was an epiphany.
Although Ash has wandered off to other fandoms, there are wonderful arcs
here, I especially love Niobe's Violets and Toy Soldiers,
and one shots, such as the touching Strange Currencies and the
hysterically funny A Bad Thing. She also collaborates on the amazing
saga Test Tubes, Demon Spawn & Demi
Gods. |

was the creater of fascinating ongoing stories, Paradox Investigation
Project and her ever evolving masterpiece (IMO) Max and Zee (2x6).

The
Reverand Maynard writes the most amazing Parables, largely Zechs-centric
(yes!) and often wonderfully lemony, although my favorite is And Hope,
which is not. She also creates very cool graphics (see below for a sample).
It is tragic that she has no home for these just now. |

I don't know where to find RazorQueen, I'm afraid. When I read the perfect
opening paragraph of After the Fire (6x2) I knew I was in expert
hands, and she has never disappointed. |

Black
Rose has written in many fandoms, all wonderfully, but my first love are
her FFVIII fics. Battlegrounds remains at the top of my favorites
list. GONE. |

Ink is the home of Tenshi no Korin and llamajoy's beautifully written
infamous FFVIII arc(tm) (which I utterly adore) and many other fine
fanfics and shrines. GW fans: don't miss Improbabilities on the FFVIII

and Christy's Death and the Dragon
is home to the premier 5x2 fic, the completely wonderful and blessedly ongoing
Reunion/Rebuilding arc. I read Reunion so often I damned near memorized
it! Everything there is good. |
| Caffiends
Kat and Tizzy's home for several fandoms. Amazing, amazing fics, but be
careful: Rainbow Sherbet damn near killed me. If you want to read
the 'other' version of Never Again Quartet Interlude X, ask me. |

Yaoi Shrine was an outstanding resource, taken down on 1/9/05 under threat.
Sahari was very choosey, hosting only the best fanfic and there were also
lots and lots of *very* pretty pictures, including a library of doujinshi
scans. Where do you think I got the idea? THIS
SITE IS DOWN PERMANENTLY. We are all poorer
for it, and all at risk. |
